EXPERT 1900 SE – 19″ 4:3, glove-friendly operation

The EXPERT 1900 SE features a 19″ display with a 4:3 aspect ratio for applications where HMI elements and process visualizations require more space, such as multiple recipes, batch recording, or combined trend displays. With a resolution of 1280 × 1024 pixels, there is sufficient detail for alarm contexts and parameters without making text unnecessarily small. The analog-resistive touchscreen responds reliably even with gloves and remains functional even during wet front operation, reducing downtime caused by operating errors.

The stainless steel housing with smooth surfaces is designed for fast and reproducible cleaning cycles. The front is IP69K rated, while the overall sealing varies between IP65 and IP69 depending on the implementation and execution of the I/O cabling. This makes the EXPERT 1900 SE suitable for use in wet or cleaned zones within food and pharma environments.

Depending on the software stack and connection to a historian or MES system, the EXPERT 1900 SE is available with Intel Celeron, Core i3, or Core i5 (Tiger Lake). Available extensions include WLAN (for wireless connections where cabling is difficult), an RFID cover (authorization and operator logging), a barcode scanner cover (fast data capture), and cable connections with strain relief for tidy and reliable cabling.

This model is ideal for production lines where operators work with multiple screens or detail panels and where the focus is on reliable operation, hygiene, and traceable process steps on the line.

The EXPERT SE series represents another important
component within the EXPERT family from FORSIS GmbH.
In this device series, particular attention was paid to the high
IP69 protection class for the entire device.
Thanks to the modular design, these devices offer a high degree of
flexibility, allowing for a variety of
design variants, for example:

• Deep-freeze version down to −30 °C via heating element

• VESA 100 mounting on the rear of the device

• Mounting preparation for a stainless steel pipe system
