EXPERT 1700 SE – 17″ 4:3 stainless steel for detailed HMI

The EXPERT 1700 SE combines a larger screen area with the same hygienic design as the smaller models. The 17-inch display in 4:3 format presents line overviews, alarms, and trend diagrams more clearly without requiring additional width – ideal for mounting in niches or ceiling ducts. The resolution of 1280 x 1024 pixels provides extra detail, while the analog resistive touchscreen ensures reliable operation, even with gloves or in wet conditions. The stainless steel housing is flat and has minimal gaps, making daily cleaning easy and reproducible. The front complies with protection class IP69K, and depending on the version and I/O cabling, the overall protection rating is between IP65 and IP69, offering protection against intensive cleaning and spray pressure. In terms of performance, the EXPERT 1700 SE offers a choice between Intel Celeron, Core i3, or Core i5 (Tiger Lake), allowing flexible adaptation to the respective application – from simple HMI systems to complex dashboards with data logging. This model is particularly suitable as a central HMI unit on the production line or in the tank, as the vertical screen format and glove-friendly operation contribute to efficient daily operation. The EXPERT SE series forms another important building block in the EXPERT family from FORSIS GmbH. Particular attention was paid to the high protection class IP69 for the entire device in this series. Due to the modular design, these devices offer great freedom, allowing a large number of construction variants, for example • IP69 protection class for the complete IPC • Deep-freeze variant down to minus 30 degrees due to heating element • VESA 100 mounting on the back of the device • Mounting preparation for a stainless steel pipe system
