Would you like to return a device or a component?
Then we will be happy to make it as easy as possible for you with an RMA request (Return Material Authorization). This makes the returns and repair process faster and more efficient.
An RMA number is a unique reference number that FORSIS assigns to your return request. This ensures that your return is processed correctly and quickly.
How to request your RMA number:

How the returns process works:
- Request an RMA: Send your request with the device’s serial number.
- Receive confirmation: You will receive the RMA number and return instructions from us.
- Send the return: Ship the device well packed in the original packaging and include the RMA number.
Important information for your return shipment!
To ensure that your return can be processed smoothly and correctly, the following points are important:
- Please ship the device in its original packaging. If the packaging is not compliant and damage is found, the warranty will be voided.
- If the packaging is not compliant and damage is found? The warranty will be voided.
- Unpaid return shipments will not be accepted.
- If we have to repack the goods for a safe return shipment, we will charge €26.50 excluding VAT.
Preparing your device for return
Never ship your device without prior arrangement! Follow these tips for a safe return shipment:

Create a backup of all data
During repair, the device may be reinstalled. This can lead to data loss (partial or complete). FORSIS is not responsible for backing up or restoring your data. -
Remove all passwords
Without access to the device, we cannot perform a recovery. Therefore, remove all passwords before returning the device. If this is not done, we will return the device at your expense. -
Clean heavily soiled devices
Is the device very dirty? Then we must clean it before we can repair it. For this, we charge a cleaning surcharge of €90 excluding VAT. -
Add a fault description
Tell us what is wrong with the device; this will speed up the process. For devices that show no faults despite our extensive tests, we charge our testing fee of €86 excluding VAT.
Warranty on repaired components
The standard 24-month material warranty and the 12-month warranty on services for FORSIS products can be extended. The extended material warranty can be increased from 24 to 36 or 48 months.
The warranty extension for services can be increased from 12 months to 24, 36, or 48 months.
