PROFI 1850 – The display unit:

The PROFI-S 1850 MT features an 18.5-inch widescreen display (16:9, 1920 × 1080 pixels) with PCAP multi-touch. This device marks the entry into the 16:9 aspect ratio for the PROFI series. As a small multi-touch variant, only the 15″ model is offered in 4:3 format. The multi-touch operation responds precisely and enables easy operation of small buttons or fields. This screen size is perfectly sufficient, especially for use as an MES terminal. The screen area provides space for the simultaneous display of dashboards, alarm overviews, and timelines, allowing operators to capture more information at a glance.

PROFI 1850 – CPU variants

The MT series is available with processors ranging from Intel Celeron to Core i7, allowing for application-specific performance scaling. The PROFI-S 1850 MT is suitable for both simple HMI (Human-Machine Interface) applications and demanding visualizations with graphical components and data logging.

PROFI 1850 – The housing

As with all PROFI devices, the housing is a combination of aluminum and steel with an IP65 protection rating on the front. The compact external dimensions of the MES terminal are ideal for the often limited space available in production environments.

PROFI 1850 – Extensions

The MES terminal can optionally be equipped with Wi-Fi, RFID, and an integrated barcode scanner, allowing identification and registration to take place directly via the same system – without additional peripheral devices.
