Panel PC PROFI-S 1700 – 17″ 4:3, detailed view

Starting with the 17″ version of the PANEL-PC PROFI-S, the resolution is SXGA. In pixels 1280 x 768. This is exactly the same resolution as the PROFI-S 1900. In the past, this resolution has established itself as the “quasi” standard for applications in 4:3 format. This choice has proven particularly effective for feedback masks with more content. Therefore, choose the PROFI-S 1700 if you need more pixels in 4:3 format without switching to widescreen. This is common for SCADA/HMI systems with multiple windows, batch recording, and alarm lists, or when operators wear gloves and a resistive touch surface is required for precise selection. The Panel PC features a housing made of aluminum and sheet steel, an IP65 front panel and an analog resistive touchscreen. Although the analog resistive touch screen is only single-touch capable, it makes up for this “disadvantage” with all its other benefits. Operation is pressure-based, meaning you must trigger the change in resistance used to calculate the position through a mechanically triggered change (pressure) on the panel. What you use to do this is irrelevant; your hand in a thick leather glove is just as suitable as a stylus, hammer handle, or anything else. The entire spectrum of our CPU technology is offered:
