Panel PC PROFI-S 1500 – 15″ in 4:3 – ENTRY Level

The PROFI-S 1500 is the ideal entry-level device if you want to start with data collection in the production environment. This cost-effective device combines utility, function, and expansion options. Its design corresponds to the PROFI-S series standard: an aluminum/sheet steel housing with IP65 front and an analog resistive touchscreen. The 15-inch screen in 4:3 format with a resolution of 1024 x 768 pixels is ideal for simple feedback dialogs and for displaying line overviews, alarms, and operation with gloves. While the analog resistive touch screen is only single-touch capable, it compensates for this “disadvantage” with all its other benefits. Operation is pressure-based, meaning you must trigger the change in resistance used to calculate the position through a mechanically induced change (pressure) on the panel. The tool used is irrelevant; your hand in a thick leather glove is just as suitable as a stylus, hammer handle, or other object. The PROFI-S 1500 is equipped with CPU variants in the lower, cost-effective performance range. Thin-client operating system variants are also frequently used here:

• 13th Generation – RAPTOR LAKE – i3 1315
• 13th Generation – RAPTOR LAKE – i5 1335

What’s next:

• From the 17″ variant of the PANEL-PC PROFI-S, the resolution is SXGA. In pixels, 1280 x 768. This is exactly the same resolution as the PROFI-S 1900.
