What will you be doing?
As a Sales Representative at FORSIS, you are the first point of contact for potential customers. You will call companies in the industrial, logistics, pharmaceutical, and food sectors, identifying opportunities and asking questions to truly understand their challenges. You will then work with colleagues to create a suitable hardware solution. You will also maintain contact with existing customers, as the relationship at FORSIS does not end after the sale. This role is varied and independent, offering plenty of room for initiative and clever ideas.
The Role: Commercial talent with technical understanding
In this versatile sales role, you are the link between technology and the customer. As a Sales Representative, you help companies across various industries find robust hardware solutions that truly work. You actively search for new leads, build relationships, and translate customer inquiries into concrete proposals. You don’t have to develop the technology yourself, but you understand what works, contribute ideas, and coordinate effectively. In short, it is a challenging role for someone with commercial flair and an interest in industrial technology.
Your Responsibilities
- Telephone acquisition of new customers (B2B)
- Identifying decision-makers within companies
- Determining customer needs and sales opportunities
- Following up on leads and quotes
- Maintaining customer relationships
- Collaborating with the marketing and service teams
What do you bring to the table?
- A commercial or technical background (education or experience)
- An independent and structured way of working
- Enjoyment of telephone acquisition
- Perseverance, even when the answer is "no"
- Affinity for technology or IT (knowledge of ERP/MES is an advantage)
- Good communication skills
