The aluminum/sheet steel housing with an IP65 front offers protection against dust and water jets and is easy to clean. This makes the PROFI-S 2150 suitable for dashboards, OEE displays, and extended measurement periods in industrial or hygienic environments. The system can optionally be expanded with a WLAN module (for wireless connections), an RFID reader (for access control), and an integrated barcode scanner (for traceable registration). This allows operation, identification, and registration to be combined in a single, compact terminal. A solid and reliable panel PC requires a robust and compact housing that can withstand heavy loads. All built-in components must be protected from external influences and properly anchored. Vibrations, dust, oils, and sparks, for example, are unavoidable in a production environment. In combination with temperature fluctuations, this poses a major challenge for the hardware.
