The mobile workstation Type L from FORSIS is the high-performance intermediate solution within the mobile workstation series. It combines generous storage space with industrial robustness and is ideal for applications requiring the integration and continuous operation of multiple components.

Compared to the Type S and Type M variants, Type L offers a significantly larger work surface and expanded interior space for printers, industrial PCs, peripherals, and power supply.

Developed for continuous industrial use

The powder-coated sheet steel construction ensures high stability in harsh production environments. The design ensures that:

• multiple devices can be operated simultaneously

• cables are routed in a structured manner

• maintenance and component access remain easy

Type L is particularly suitable for:

• PDA and MDA workstations

• SCADA and HMI stations

• Quality data acquisition

• Logistics and order picking applications

Flexible power supply

High-performance 24 V battery solutions are available for mobile use:

• 50 Ah / 80 Ah / 100 Ah

• approx. 1.2–2.4 kWh energy capacity

• Inverters 350 / 650 / 800 / 1200 W

Depending on the application, LiFePO₄ or lead-gel batteries can be integrated.

This makes Type L suitable for extended off-grid use or multi-device workstations with higher power requirements.

Ergonomics and practical design

Type L accounts for industrial workflows:

• Screen ergonomically positioned in the field of vision

• Printer integrated in the lower section

• Accessory trays and input devices can be positioned ergonomically

• Optional scanner and RFID integration

The additional width compared to Type M provides more comfort and better accessibility to components.

Modular design
