Reading technology

• CCD technology: A CCD reader is based on camera technology and consists of the two components CCD line and lens The external lighting additionally required for reading the bar code is normally provided by means of LEDs integrated in the reading device.
• Laser technology: For the laser technology, a point of light is generated by a laser diode or tube. This is diverted by a moving mirror (swivelling mirror or rotating mirror wheel) so the visible red laser beam is generated.
